If you are eligible for Medi-Cal, you may sign up any time (even after Covered California open enrollment ends) and you may choose your physicians from the Community-Rooted Provider Coalition.
To get enrolled, make an appointment with a Certified Enrollment Counselor at Roots Community Health Center. Once you are signed up, you can make an appointment to see any physician in the Community-Rooted Provider Coalition.
Choosing a Community-Rooted Provider Coalition doctor gives you access to:
- Appointments when you need them
- Doctors and staff who speak your language
- A network of primary care doctors and specialists in your neighborhood
- Doctors who are highly recommended by their patients
